78. Do you like to smell a certain way?
I would like to NOT smell a certain way, i.e., I don't want to have a smell. I would try to limit the idea that my body emits any smell at all. And if it is a good smell, something natural, like a lemongrass extract or a patchouli or something from a shea butter or a soap I have used, thats wonderful as long as it doesn't overpower the room I am in or the people around me. A little bit of natural body odour I think is o.k., as long as it is not overly strong or foul. I really dislike when I am at a cafe for example, and then two women sit down right next to me, and their smell is so overpowering that I can't concentrate on what I am doing. So in that case, the smell has an impact.
I like to smell like me, that's how my husband prefers me.
Yes. I like to smell natural, and if I wear perfume, I like for it to be unforgettable, but almost unrecognizable.
Not sweaty? Apart from the times I decide to put on perfume, I don't give it much thought.
I love the smells of nature and flowers and the rain. Subtle smells.
yes, Jo Malone Vetiver everyday or Shalimar for winter nights out
yes. insense-y woodsy sexy but subtle
I'm allergic to 99.9% of all fragrance in the world. I use Santa Maria di Novella's Rose Water and that's ok. Strange Invisibles, makers of "narrative perfumes with certified organic, wildcrafted, biodynamic, and hydro-distilled essences" (I took that from their website), used to make a perfume called Dimanche. It was inspired by leisurely Sunday lunches in Paris. It had notes of iris, rose, honey and amber. It was divine. On special occasions, I would really like to smell like Dimanche. Hopefully they'll start making it again.
I would like to smell like the forest.
