67. Looking back at all your purchases over the past five to fifteen years, can you generalize about what sorts of things were the most valuable to buy?
Valuable meaning expensive? Riding clothes, I suppose. I have lots of them, I wear them a lot, and I have to buy some of them new (there simply are not second hand items in my size).
Most valuable items that I have purchased were most likely accessories like bags and shoes.
small bits of jewelry or clothes from local stores discovered while travelling
handbags and boots
the stuff i still have. the rest I've thrown out.
A good pair of shoes are INVALUABLE.
Black dresses, and pieces of clothing that came from second-hand or vintage stores - they tend to be the items of clothing that I've liked and worn for more than just a couple of seasons.
Skirts and dresses
I've not a huge wallet so I study well what I want to buy...everything for me has a grat value.
The most valuable things for me to buy, was anything that came from Hot Topic because it made me feel Alice to chose my style.
cardigan sweaters and black work pants
My leather jacket, my jean jacket, my wool winter coat, my big wool scarf. I hate being cold.
Good quality shoes, second hand.
Some pair of pants that fit me like glove and that i love, i would say any kind of clothes that are on heavy rotation in my wardrobe!!
Good coats and good shoes. Outerwear is what everyone sees and what you wear every single day, while other items come and go.
Before my renaissance, i'd buy cheap clothes to imitate stuff i'd see on runways or bloggers. I tried to get googdnatural materials, but the price was the most important. Quantity over quality.
