69. If you had to throw out all your clothes but keep one thing, what would you keep?
My black and white swing dress, I would sew the petticoat in so it would stay one garment!
My generic black dress from Numph with a black belt. It is very multi-purpose, dressy and also not dressy.
Are you implying I wouldn't have clothing ever again or that I would just have to build a wardrobe from nothing? If it's the latter, it would be an amazing pair of brown boots I thrifted for $3.00 five years back. They're comfy, stylish, and I get compliments on them all the time.
My shoes. Can I keep all four pairs please? Jeremy Scott is a fantastic designer and he makes the shoes of my dreams. Winged, rainbow and sparkly, what more could I want?
My lilli ann coat. It's honestly so nice I should frame it.
That Noel t-shirt.
The red leather jacket with zippers that Mom bought for me 20 years ago and still looks great.
My Spartan Race t-shirt. I am so proud that I made it through that. Clothing is ultimately replaceable, I think.
An oversized wool cardigan, hopefully one that would cover my bottom.
maria cornejo jumpsuit!
black awesome fitted pants
that's an impossible question
Black and white striped jacket.
NO FUCKING WAY.
A sleeveless Marc Jacobs dress that my mother found on clearance and mailed to me two weeks before I started teaching for the first time. The dress has big, edible-looking buttons, and a textile pattern that reminded my mother of apples (I think they're actually acorns). I wore it for good luck the first day I ever taught, and have worn it on the first day of school every day since. It looks increasingly childish on me, but I can be sentimental (and superstitious) when it comes to certain associations.
