70. Building up your wardrobe from nothing, what would you do differently this time?

Don't know
Probably nothing, without outside assistance

Yes.

Only buy what I like. Shop primarily for what I do- work, work out and play. Have a specific color palette in mind when shopping for the season. Buy high-quality, timeless staples first.

Not too much..never buy pants from Target

I have basically done that over the past few years and I think it's smart to go slow, buy less but good stuff that will last, and take care of items.

Give the items I buy more thought so my closet is more cohesive.

i would buy everything.

I can't say that I wouldn't keep old, sentimental valued stuff because those just pile up anyway.

nothing

Only pieces that look nice on me and coordinate well with each other.

Spend money on quality

Try to buy more light colored clothing.

i'd create a spreadsheet ensuring every item could be worn with everything else. i'd have a strict color scheme--maybe only black and grey.

Make a list of the types of things I want included, and then look for and item that I love that fills that category, instead of lots of 'almost' pieces to fill the gap.

I would only purchase things that were different shades of white, pink, red, lilac, black, and maybe gold. I like owning things that all fit into one color palette.

No synthetic fibers, only organic stuff, but I've said that before

I'm not pretty sure

No fast fashion or impulse buys from discount stores. Never purchase anything that isn't perfect--my weight hasn't changed in almost a year, and I never manage to get anything tailored.
