76. Did you ever buy an article of clothing without giving it much thought, only to have it prove much more valuable as time went on? What was the item and what happened?

I bought three pencil skirts from a fast-fashion site. I've had them for 6 years. 1 was too tight so I barely wore it, the other 2 are worn out. they are so versatile- good for work and play. I want to replace them

Combat boots..now have more colors

I bought a polyester knit polka dot jumpsuit second hand online. I wore it once and wasn't so sure I liked it. But I put it on again recently and realized it looked AWESOME on me and it was SUPER comfortable in warmer weather.

A black jean jacket. As usual, an impulse buy, but it came in handy for completing an entire outfits.

A summer dress. I wore it a lot. It was very worn after at list 7-8 years so I simply throw it away.

I had a linen dress shirt from goodwill that I loved so much that I invisibly repaired. I wore it all summer.

I caramel trench coat I purchased around 15 year ago on a whim because it was on sale. Classic and chic, i still wear it! Dressed up or down, it's been on many trips, a daily staple.

I give my purchases thought from the start, so no.

Underarmour and Nike pro compression shorts are my go-to layer to wear over tights/under a dress or skirt. I bought them in high school for athletics and still have the same pairs today..... yikes.
