48. Do you find it comforting or constraining to have a uniform?
Constraining. Restraining. Big time.
Seems like a horrible idea to have to wear one.
I find it constraining. You can't really free yourself.
Is quite comforting, like that you don't have to worry about clothes and free your mind from that.
I used to think it would be constraining. But I'm starting to think it would be comforting, depending on the uniform, of course. Not the aforementioned Dunkin' Donuts miniskirt! (#40) But I'm not really sure, since I haven't been in the situation since 1970.
Both. Depending on how early I have to wake up.
A uniform, as a way of dressing that is streamlined, is a comforting thing. Gives more space to think about other things, knowing one is put together. A uniform as a mandatory outfit for a specific job... I never had to wear one, I wouldn't know.
..as a kid a uniform was comforting in it levelled the field for most kids.p
